About Pier 55

Pier 55 Resort is located 1km north of Big River on Cowan Lake. We offer clean, themed accommodations for every budget, one fully serviced nightly campsite, 2 non-serviced campsites and 19 seasonal campsites. With beautiful, peaceful surroundings, you will enjoy the lake view from almost every spot of our quiet resort. We also offer clean modern washrooms with coin-operated showers and laundry, as well as Ice and Minnows for purchase on site for your convenience. 

When you stay with us, you can try out a Canoe, Kayak, Pedal Boat or one of our Paddle Boards, free of charge. Rent a marina slip for your own boat in our inland Marina, or rent one of our well-maintained fishing boats hourly or daily. Have a group or just want to enjoy the comforts of a larger vessel? Rent our Pontoon for a 1/2 or full day. Pier 55 Resort also has a private launch, filleting shack and a dock to catch fish off of anytime of the day. 

Enjoy our ice cream, coffee, comfort food and drinks at our NEW store location on Main Street in Big River! Pier 55 on Main is located close to the government dock with a view of Cowan Lake on the back deck to enjoy our many treats in the beautiful summer weather.
